somewhere in the fundamental orifice
that is documentation processing
for the department of [REDACTED]
my photograph, my name, my entire identity
is on hold, having required original material
on the grounds that no-one would need it
in the glorious steaming interim
anyone desirous of my presence
can contact the department of [REDACTED]
during regular operating hours
on the grounds that if you find me
maybe you can step in meanwhile
I will be operating nameless, contactless
until either my identity is returned
or I have enough coffee to fathom
the sort of heist that involves nothing more
than going to original sources
and begging, on repeat, with synthetic sweet
