how alien must that something other be
before claiming sanctuary as othered
must it tame cilia in constant vibration
a scent almost but not quite like our own
bonnet for hearthhome, worn creature
politely discussing finer degrees of sentience
unknown
but here, a friend on head for a hat
chromatophore adjustment in windswept mat
however still the wind �� so long as we get on
might ��s well belong, ��specially if conversation
keeps one ��s equilibrium in symbiosis
happy heart, splendid part, never alone
