that new-moon rage
cave-sky outside
heart-known counter-orbital
swift-laid against
swivels clock, anti-clock
timeless star-void
radiating sine so overlapped
its fermentation
releasing pollen rifts
in honey-bleed
in scale-stiff wings
at one thousand twenty-two
meters per second
times two, socketing inter-op
tightening every muscle
heart-bleat and corpuscular hammer
clicked sycophant
awaking impact-need
shutter-eye sifts familiar
gone unfamiliar utter-shy
hole in hearth a howl
where that one lunar function
ends
