in fish stories
the one that got away
recurses
young fish
doing double dog dares
now bite it
fishmother
leviathan rising shoreless
swallows horses
dimensional rifts
swirling in wake
shine pastel
young humans
return double dog dares
half fish-bitten
buoyed by friendship
a thousand years later
to empty villages
reefs and roads
shallows before shores
join worlds
