no, sire, that was an error on my part
perceiving the firearm as the threat
typically, the pattern on an action
is notation �� threat registry �� and then motion
instead, heard the safety release
drew and turned, moving off-beam
seeing an aimed firearm
not held by one of our own
destroyed it
that ��s why the third shot was for the deadman
blind luck, that �� not a thinking thing
just, oh, that better not release
