muse, persistence be thy beacon calling
fuck right off, this sonnet here I ��m stalling
though I love m ��dear, my spirit ��s flagging
subway docked for painting out the tagging
coffee, planned, and muffins dear, beloved
this trough of words my face into, I ��ve shoved
where sustenance would well have served my cause
in angry verse I raise my pen and pause
redirected, starveling and silent
mercy denied, harsh in name, and violent
redirect, I ��ll something �� or just stay sit
goddamn, where ��s my muffin, I just had it
both breakfast and last dinner lost on shelf
never hire, become amused thyself
