your plotted divergent recipes
starch laden plans from pan to collar
swam from wafer thin to yeasted bliss
each circumscription inspected
laid syllabic one rate against another
balancing equations, cancelling interceptions
scent in spice risen, chamfer-let
that a break in pattern
lantern oil to lamp black
dei most dropped amidst flak
wracked beneath foundations staggered
where from oven, ward
from word, ardent inspection
from city, resurrection
ring then the bells
however many listenings it takes
that from beyond the gates
an offering in honey loaves and banter
might awaken our wanderings
out and back again
one signature per brick
we many who hunger harbor those
upon whom you ��d wage erasure
fed on scent and flour
blood of memory lingers
our fingers callus upon each fired stone
where strictures raise structured melody
our priests, now bakers, division
