Pane In Slow Shift

there's a mental exercise wherein one looks out the window
and with meticulous care annotates one ��s intake
here, it ��s grey stone
that particular scent of something unused to oxygen
gradually adapting
releasing small self-fragment, gaining organics ��
but no windows
one might rise to observation layer
calculating risks, how twice or more per generation
that dome is obliterated
with sometimes as much as half a click of shaft
taking with it fools and automats
things insisting that closer to void
mitigates starlessness
that here, we ��re so far out
substantiation has wrapped danger close
both still rock and active cloak
emissions control tight to fiber
dome deliberately irregular
just in case one day
there ��s signal
in annotating one ��s intake, one wonders
if still, manufactured lakes relate
to that specific gravity of home
or if in between leaps, we ��ve shaved our weights
ablation by airtime, crossing, ionizing radiation
question whether brass eventually decays
beyond tradition stored in argon
how that mental exercise, wherein one looks out
might remediate our burial, here arbitrarily measured
