the single greatest love, they claimed
was fleece lined construction pants
fresh from drying by the fire
slightly smokey, just this side doom
popped on all by their lonesome
for reading in a recliner
pulled up upon the hearth
tin cup of tea over the coals
and coffee brewing for after
