out there in the dark
something ��s pacing the edge of the pine barens
hungry and chill, seeking, ever seeking
closing on home, chasing contemplative differences
between grabbing the assegai from its magnetic block
keeping cutlery company, or popping the oven
pulling two loaves, garlic and onion
and leaving the front door open
come what will
it ��s long enough I ��ve been alone
maybe this will talk while it sups
my starvation being equal
