Seven In
October 31, 2021
looking at the future of malcontent and evil, making movies and their sequels
books and all their structures towards plots both stressed and banal
perhaps the pinnacle instead would not be death and losing heads
but comfort of enough, and making nice, pretty foundations
solid both in structure and in their graspless holding wonder
having not to hold, but flow, from social to their infrastructure
where the movies spend two hours work towards sweet scented blooming flowers
plotting how uniquely timed the scent arrives in bowers
where our lovers or our friends come back well fed and happy
tend each other ��s gardens, make some music, write some stanzas
where extravagance in dance acknowledges both violence
and happenstance encounters where our disciplines do complement
how nice your sword dear sir, and you, your net
there ��s bandages beside my hearth, no further to lament
