the duke, desiring something new
requested a bed made of forgettery foam
to be gifted to a courtier he particularly despised
that in the night, it might simply fall to dust
and the courtier be visited by discomfort
equal the duke ��s own
instead, in the night
removed from all thought
all concept of tea
and imperfect, slept upon by a cat
who as you know cannot possibly forget
foam ��s knowledge passed on
tabby insistence now most serene
engaging the duchess �� season
in lap song and perfect cream
