hunting werewolves always pulls in a few ignorant sausages
loaded to the nines with silver, tactical this and that draped upon them
like someone told them the proper shroud for murder was black mass
without witchery, lest their god strike them from the record
an afterthought of not making special exemptions for racist pricks
these lonely souls always look confused on arrival
nearly always men, nearly always wondering what womenfolk mean
insisting that if they can ��t cook, they ��d best get on then
the fields of dreams are waiting, ain ��t gonna catch you a beau, no sir
not if you can ��t put meat to metal, spice it up special
seared outside, glorious flavor within
ass in gear, sir, we ��re about to begin
me, this year I ��m hoping for that special girl �� or boy, I ain ��t particular
handfasting or hands-fast, either will do, and hey
if you can ��t flow like the wind, a rifle will do �� I ��m old for the run
venison ain ��t gonna bring itself down
and no-one ��s got a spot on my blackened salmon
glory-be, let me feed and take you in �� or hey, other way will do
while these young pups get their chucks nicking what Bob ��s got in the trunk
me, I ��ve already benched my 30-30, sighted it up
left it home until deer season starts, ��cause now be always shifting
autumn leaves swift and wild, sweet in the heat, sweat in the heart
merry for meat �� fur out, grill up, ribbons raring to go
hands fast, hands slow, butter brings the flavor
gonna get me some of that
and come deer season ��round these parts, with all the best of starts
you ��ll hear the locals checking in, keeping the borders comfy
making sure the doe and hart we love so dear are dressed their part
and keeping the conversation clear

ain ��t gonna eat my neighbor
unless you know, it ��s like that
gonna get me some of that
