I ��ve heard tell that the best time for writing
or singing, or stories, or bardic whatnot
is inebriation, exhaustion, forty dessert days and nights
but I ��d sooner cleanse myself of dust delights
skip the raging death of morning blight
and write whenever
fresh from the shower
fresh from walkabout
fresh from whatever
just keeping the meat together
those fevered dreams are just a snack
compared to what a comfy hearth and lack of lack
bring back
