once upon a time, the book read like so
that the traditional role was tradition, and to be lauded
that were one born into a role, there one stayed
and unto another, well, there too one stayed
because tradition
and when the new book came along
that traditional roll was to be broken, and the break lauded
there was rejoicing in the new and different
because sod tradition
and both books would say unto a person
here is what you are, and how you can love it
here is what you are, and how you can break from it
but here is what you are
and I remember a book

but I only found it dreaming
