No Mint For Tea

still laughing, hostess pulls out another teacup
this one reads
die screaming
the last was somewhat more traditional
a humor of
you ��ve been poisoned
scattered on shelves, sundry decorative tins
tea and coffee humorously labelled in old world fonts
toxin after toxin, here a stopping of the heart
here, nerve channels chilled, dopamine redirected
smile, relaxed, polite
drink nothing, eat nothing
murmur polite empty
outside, where property becomes woods
one might leave a bit of good bread
honey, cream, and a warning
for here the rules are broken
step with care
