Surfacing

sometimes the dream roads even have roads in ��em
easily tracked things, the many-tender paths
others, it ��s recursed fields, marshes, retaining walls
old Hadrian in concrete pylons
power distribution its own ruled deliberation
between silence and hum, covering predator
countering predation, encouraging hunt
wrapping one ��s self to rule, or against
or coursing change in beloved waters
many rivers sleeping wide, weed floats
saltless mats hinting doodlebugs, striders
diversity of equilibrium �� what shows, what cares
so here the runners come, silicon dreamers by pairs
and here too the hunters, pulled lower case, specialized
silicon in right-hand, specialists to their own brand
one paused to injury, patient to shared reverse
seven plies in, harboring compressed atomics
squeezed little thing that if you ��re compliant
goes unnoticed �� and three of you, well, the split
it goes like this �� here you are, and there they go
injuring only to threshold, waiting, timing it
two free for next, and one to hold position
slow hurting of non-enemy, just different jobs
disable and keep hurting so there ��s no reset
digging grey egg justice free enough to examine
calculating distances, ecological damages
degrees of breaking otherwise-friendlies
that later you may love them still
a generalist of position in plies
