somehow, the message didn ��t get through
this was not unusual �� humans almost never got the message
human sense of caution was the sort of thing one could box
inside a molycirc, inside a relay �� and the relay would still work
utterly unimpeded
the human had a name, an utterly unpronounceable name
not because of the phonetics or divergences in organic composition
that one might find uttering the sounds too complicated
but because in whatever language, when dealing with humans
when one started to utter their name, they ��d be doing something
and what would come out would be
look out, stop, get back, you ��ll die
and neither the name nor the message would register
the speciation guide had a word for it, the madness that sloughed off
how a sane being, upon watching a human for as few as four time segments
might simply stop comprehending the actuarial tables even humans used
how baseline resistance might fade and that hitherto sane being
might join in and suffer utter catastrophe
and the human, nameless, would then stop tasting electricity
or pause in their attempt to gain superpowers via the waste disposal unit
and say
dude
are you OK
that was amazing
