Secret Garden Verse

I shall tell you a secret, the first that you shall gain
pain is your dearest friend and pain your nearest enemy
and you shall set the difference
I shall tell you a secret, the second to your name
honor is your nearest friend and honor your clearest enemy
and you shall bind them tweenest
I shall tell you a secret, the third unto your blame
other is your samest gain and in the name be making
bindings deep and quiet
but obvious be bitter word, and sweet, and kindle well
the tincture now upon your tongue does swell
and wallow mild
so be wiled in the secret, and of the tone betaken
sing well oh yea now fettered and unfettered be thy marrow
to arrow swallow well
to each of you the other ��s word
winding plaited tarrow
or spring
and be the worning
long, and bright, until thy barrow
