Snowfall At Corner
January 27, 2019
I fill my world with many voices
all of them my own
an isolation, this many-many
I name my home
between the cats and manic dog
coffee and a crutch of tea
I see the world empty-empty
filtered free of me
I tell myself that silence is
of nature to the poem
outside traffic gone quiet-quiet
inside rushing on
