we have all these lovely themes for it, this murderous urge
to put the knife in, or in, to twist the knife
claim animal, beast, creature by word and blade
make excuse of revelry, of participation, use
might ��s well shave edge down some
slip tongue to the teaching
lap it in
neither word nor steel nor shell be weapon
there is but us, breathing both logic and empathy at need
or vacuum, filling our hollows with hollows
horsed or human
