in the gullet lies the twist, necrotic and seditious
speaking words of carrion, of might and misdemeanor
stretching wreck upon republic, where breath had been reminder
never falter in the footsteps of the fearless and recover
always master, always servant, each one unto the other
by burden bourn by reason, by word, and deed, and season
but now the petals open, rank file unto treason
each canker dream of conquering, put one before the other
where many one and anyone had long been holden
long blood siezened
now each better than the other, in pride and god befoundered
each better than the other, in lie and mob befoundered
to starve in cold, to drown in fever, pus upon the precipice
ravening in malice grown to seat below the raven
sickened, stricken, thick in hate
claim we, not they, profligate
and lo, the verse like teaching grows, the gate and stone unsealed
tilling in the heart ��s own kin, swilling ��til congealed
slung upon the battlefield, become unto battle field
long and stung to battle ��s field, despotic and pernicious
o �� let us now praise anyone, lest they become unlike us
