A Trade of Gifts

I was given dragon ��
t ��was a thing without respect
to humor pitiable creatures
Alvar, Cron, within that near dead thing ��s tamped furnace
supplicant ��s pall upon them
facing such murmurous felicitation
protestations, prostrations
in that second, my children
my error
I was given dragon ��
who said take no free thing
who brokered no free thing ��s snare
who asked only, trade free in your giving
your loving, your harmony
who in passing said folded with universe
I might one day dream to behold such beauty
speak a word, perhaps another, holding
my error
I was given dragon ��
t ��was a thing most unexpected
desire ��s pinion in that liquid ambergris eye
think you I allow will bent, will captured
my own, unbent, un-captured
no free thing taken �� harmony ��s token, harmonic arraigned
I might one day dream to unfetter such beauty
exchange such givings, a memory, perhaps another
will, in the face of such errantry
emissaries �� sulfur and mete
likened thinking, faceted fully round
my error
