when I dream, the cadaver comes down
rictus slam denting metal plate
gavel spate derisive, fluorescent over-tubing click-death
mercury teeth lab-abled, solid core catching AM
one country in amplitude again
chemically restricted stasis broadcasting
muscular corpse waging prop agenda
bound within each cell
when I wake, I am the cadaver
for that quarter second before the light takes
and dreaming, limited words break
stake in venture, profit in wake
bent metal plate in sate
no fire-break where word is criminal
