I dreamed the son of a bitch died
that with his dogmother he hunts still the skies
champing at the hell of weal and wounding
clamping onto flesh left in folds and flags
doing his job, curst fickle job
then vanished for a moment, then heart replied
spitting out the bits as he took me aside
saying, ��Never eat the enemy lest you take them inside
but always get the taste �� get the very best taste
let them ribbon your flanks to spur their pride
then follow that taste to their hive
hunt not once but twice �� and die ��
open mouth smile, curled up in lie
where I see old bodies
cast aside
