you call it revolution but I ��ve not revolted yet
just put my teeth between the nails, dug around a little bit
and you say it ��s evolution but I swear the pattern ��s burning in
like you ��ve left the television running, running
and the channel logo stays behind
you call it execution but the staples in my head won ��t stick
just popped out from the bailiwick of your circumstance and brick
and you swear you ��d me impaled, but your lances taste like turmeric
like I ��d spit upon that spicy mix when I could get another taste
steel where your fillings met
so your books decline to edify, but my nose it does just fine
and the vintage of your city ��s acrid, all your people whine
where diesel calls coke and lithium you ��ll understand my declination
one swift slope from your institutions, one stick, one rope
your electrocution models nothing
I am what I began
I call it living, so-sweet living, by blood, by sweat, by meats
by distancing and mail order, spice, and your so sleek treats
and I like my margin, and my marjoram, and my memory of your boarding
but these things you hoard are meaningless, and chored
your temper voltaic cored
