I was born to the cut of the whip
sharp ribbon track across my taste
barked inner thigh and tack cross back
born slight and steady craving relapse
making virtue of burden, cast next to flake
flint from skin and blood razor's rack
whistling in the contempt of pain
contempt replies not, but russet rain
ruin to my coil, measure to my pack
currency of treasure in the flick and snap
ruin at my center, measure to my task
currency of passion, flick, relapse
and I was born to the cut of the whip
sharp ribbons of taste across my tips
barking dog's bitch and ruin's latch
borne slight yet steady, devastatrix apse
