everything's ok until you get that taste
first pleasure of the absolute
consolidating less or innovation
making of your self's strata a criminal thrust
just here behind the maker's mark
something shallow, hollow, dark
second skin below the thirst
power rippling in, avarice intrusion
and everything's ok before the taste
every wagered motion beyond reaching
absolute inversion of the birth
made for something good, doing
doing - something hunger driven
and there's that taste, there again
and only acid behind it in the vase
mingling in the afterbirth
something hungry, something me
and something sooner, worse
