perseverance is a form of art
the softened stepping of the foot
breathing in between the voiceprints
of treeshed things, of fallen pieces
voices that but touched cry out -
you take your time, that's all there is
and timeless state your sufferance
for will is patience - and the art
stately concealed devotion
and perhaps there's purpose there afoot
some hunting dance or temperance
quiet call of the sun-not-here
or waiting, simply waiting
but perseverance is the art
and purpose serves no purpose
tranquil liquid as embalmed
of person, of the fallen wisdom
epiphany that but touched cries out -
you will take your time, that's all there is
and timeless become sufferance
for will is liquid - and the art
a constant state of being
