the hunger is a saddened thing, a body thing no longer
just impatience at the need, waiting for the mind to cede
in intellect the saddest thing, memory fills nothing
bittersweet and distant, oh how I miss your thoughts
and the body has forgotten now, your caress and gentle touches
but lonely mind twins tales of you, spinning night's survival
oh missing you this hardest thing, I see you every minute
and the body that's forgotten you, replaced by heart in torment
come back to me my lonely wife, and 'ware that I am somber
saturated with the loss, these years crying silent fears
come back to me my one desire, be not away my lover
this love a hunger in the heart, a body thing no longer
