I'll have not confusion on my middle ground
nor comfort in my sheltered ways
my three years long have been reformed
another man's eyes, experience belied
comfort in the middle ground, released
shadow tapir's headlong plunge
foliage and vine long sprung, a tapestry
clenching molar's mindful grind
mammal burning forward
exhumation of tears, for time blunted
all examination redirected, perfected in thrumming
rejuvenation of the fold, sharp memorization's hold
transgressor, lacking demarcation, rejects
all emotion, save transference, distance
flattening teeth at the back of the mouth
two lonely voices, and further south
dissonance in the tapir's gait
tak, tak, tak, and wait, and wait
survival is memory, transmuted
feeling driven to singularity, purpose
reamed back down the barrel
frail in the headlong passage
survival is a drone, industrial embarkation
consolidation of the one, empty of all but purchase
driving, driving mammal, channel complicated
organic - tapir's wit a mainline stream
of here soon there, and transfiguration
