a lacquer box, down there in the daylight
a hundred hour's work at the craftsman's hands
yours truly, Rikovich, and a crafter's mark
all burned in down into the lacquered dark
press it once upon the side
a crag upon the painted mountain opens wide
exposing circuitry inside, a tangled mesh
like flesh, like mass, another pass
the holograph is of the mountain, of the grass
one within the other's graft
touch here, come step where fields widen
ever pressed against the data's breast, defined
the ancient simulacrum, in patient silence
drop, down in the lee-line
you have been connected
