Crusade Revival
June 12, 1992
we all wanted to make our names
some of us looked to the yellow pages for a game to play
and the rest of us followed the christian soldiers
come one, come all they cried out to us
so we followed their footsteps and carried their songs
lifted their banners to the light
don ��t worry brother, this won ��t hurt much longer
and we followed them out into the blinding light
they followed north ��s star for apparent vision
we followed them for much the same
we fought in their wars and bathed in their blood
and I admit there was little honor to it all
and I became just another screaming youth
quaking in the intensity of the gaze
their god was mine �� don ��t you see?
and death followed us so easily
their god to feed
