I finally finished a book from start to finish for the first time in 12
years. Sure, it's not that big of a deal for a lot of folks to read a
single book, but
Over the last 12 years, my ability to focus was being scattered and
sucked away. I'm pretty sure it was a mix of being "always online",
social media, and smartphones.
It took me getting rid of a lot of those things to start to heal my
ability to focus. There is more work to be done. May this triumph be
the beginning of a story, and not the end.
