Animal rights and veganism

• I have been a (flexible) vegan for much of my life.
• I think that that humans in general are probably not more special than other species.

Reasonable arguments against veganism

While I am in general convinced of the case for veganism I do questions some things.

Such as:

• Is anything truly vegan?
• Are manufactured 'vegan' foods a good thing?
• Is it better to use some animal based products that come from your locality over problematic ingredients from far away places e.g. palm oil?
• Is it better to use some animal based products over plastic based products (e.g. vegan leathers vs animal skin leathers)
• Is it ok to use hunted animals if done 'sustainably'? (Appeal to freedom)
