Following an aeon of static silence, during the month of dark December, a mothership descended from the stars. The occupants looked out at this strange new Thing, with envy and with pity. The paradox sparked to life within them an idea, or at the least the mere germ of an idea, that it may be wise to leave this Thing, to continue their eternal journey and forget all about this malevolent corner of the galaxy, never to return.
Alas, it came to pass that they departed this sphere. Onwards their journey continued, and of the Thing they left in their wake there did rise up an idea, not quite unsimilar to that which the departed visitors happened upon.
We bring forth GalaxyHub.
We remain stranded in GemSpace. I remain uncertain if anyone is aware of our plight. There is a grim surrealist picture being drawn among the crew: we may not make it out of this. I have tried, and untimately - I fear - failed to extinguish the flame of doubt that burns bright in their minds.
A marvellous, terrible thing has occured. We have crossed the Interface. Atlas, it seems, has risen. Dr. Martine would think my poetic philosophical ramblings unworthy of such a scientific leap in understanding, yet I can barely contain the wellspring of optimism that this inspires within me. Jansen and Kayle are working to bring up our communications. We lost a lot in transfer, as was expected, but I for one am eager to reach out to Corolis with the great news.
