Midnight Pub

Introductions

~melyanna

~bartender a cappuccino, please. With cinnamon. Thank you!

Hello!

I am a long time lurker. I often sit in that small corner near the fireplace, over there, looking around in silence.

I got rid of most of my social media accounts a few years ago, and I am pretty much only looking at content in the small web at this point, or in the fediverse.

While I love it here, writing always feels a bit intimidating: I have no programming skill or technical knowledge, so my contribution is more on the side of using and consuming content, rather than making stuff for others to enjoy.

It was raining earlier, but now it's nice and sunny outside. I think I will go for a walk.

hello ~melyanna.

I believe I knew you in a former 2nd life ;) You wrote on Write.as for a bit, yea? Or do? I stopped keeping up w/ R.w.a, but I see many from that crowd, and other places, spring up at The Midnight. Never know *what* familiar face might walk through that door! :)

Glad to see ya around!

until later...

Raining here today, too. But looking at positives, it's finally starting to get green. It's been a long, cold spring.

Howdy ~melyanna, and welcome to The Midnight.

~bartender? a hot chocolate with spices, thanks!

It is currently raining outside my window, where I sit with the notebook. On one hand, I would like some early summer to arrive, on the other hand, it has since years not rained enough around here, so well, I try to enjoy it while watching the puddles outside.

I'll go for some big band stuff on the jukebox, while I let time go by in little moments ... maybe a few magic moments are in the stream.

Take care!

Yes, this can be quite the wonderful place - although it's gone through periods where I swear the windows and doors were attracting a lot more plywood than I prefer.
