Yea, could be. The police and various other places can record your phone conversations, and nobody can tell what's happening.
I think about hidden microphones listening to me.
Yea, it can happen. Google hid a microphone in one of their devices, your computer and phone have microphones, and your neighbours might have door-cams with mics which go straight to Amazon, then the police; they're pretty much everywhere.
CIA satellites are tracking me.
They use your phone, and it's mostly radio masts which track you. It's actually phone companies which pull the information, and the 'alphabet boys' (CIA, NSA, et c.) get copies of the data. Pretty much every step you take gets logged somewhere.
I think the television has special messages for me.
It's called 'targeted advertising'. The groups taking information about you then use it to make very tailored adverts on YouTube, other websites, and probably integrated into smart TVs by now.
These intrusive thoughts irked people for a long time, and now we're all putting up with them.
