В Alan Wake 2 история будет вестись от лица двух персонажей: пропавшего без вести писателя Алана Уэйка и агента FBC (ФБР) Саги Андерсон.
Алан всё также будет пытаться выбраться из глубин Темного Места. Его часть сюжета будет проходить в параллельной реальности.
Геймплей и перспектива Саги будет проходить в реальном Брайт Фоллс и сосредоточено на расследование произошедшего тут преступления, и как с этим был связан пропавший несколько лет назад писатель.
Вся картина откроется нам 17-го октября.

Hiding Audio Devices from the Quick Settings Sound Menu
Being able to quickly switch between different audio devices is one of my favourite things about GNOME Shell’s Quick Settings menu. No longer do I have to fire up Settings > Sound to quickly switch from my laptop’s built-in speakers to my (not exactly amazing) USB-C speakers, or to my Bluetooth sound bar. However… There is one rub in this otherwise easy-going experience: my list of sound output is quite long. That wouldn’t be too much of an issue if I used half of them — but I don’t. I only tend to switch between the same ones. Enter the :sys_more_orange:

Sad news to see the great Tina Turner has passed away today.
I grew up listening to her as she had some amazing songs. I never got to see her in concert, which I wish I would have, as I've always heard she was quite the entertainer.

The following information explains by referencing practical, relatively easy-to-follow and do guidance, on how to grow food sustainably whilst also restoring ecology (e.g., wildlife). A practical and easily implementable, win-win solution - not that reason will prevent the irrational [biased & illogical] from arguing against a reasonable & practical approach.
There are many well-intended people in [#business] (https://climatejustice.social/tags/business) & [#politics] (https://climatejustice.social/tags/politics) that are thinking about ways to try & mitigate [#ClimateChange] (https://climatejustice.social/tags/ClimateChange) (greenwashes aside as their dangerously useless). People's personal circumstances, e.g., managing a company, can make the challenges of mitigating their business's climate impacts overwhelming. Cooperation is the right approach to mitigate ecological degradation. Competition is the wrong approach.
More generally, operationally, there are two approaches to mitigate climate change, the top-down approach (e.g., government or management) or the roots, or the bottom-up approach (no pun intended. e.g., local communities).
So, people are in different circumstances (No S--t Sherlock!). However, there is an increasing number of people that if the right policies were in place, would have a huge positive impact on mitigating ecological degradation, therefore, lessening the impacts of climate change. To quote the One Planet Development Council "This forward-thinking planning policy provides a genuinely affordable and sustainable way for people to live and work on their own land, bringing social, economic, and environmental benefits" (see reference section. 1.)
Well-intended policymakers that want to mitigate ecological degradation therefore climate change will do well to develop policies that enable the people that want to - to grow food sustainably whilst also restoring nature (win-win). Generally, the One Planet Policy needs vastly scaling up. The effects of climate change will become more severe. We will need more people that are living in ways that grow food locally, are increasing biodiversity, & generally living a low-impact lifestyle (win-win-win)
I urge policymakers & social influencers in general, that are not confined by the business-as-usual paradigm (paradox), to review the One Planet Development Policy (OPDP). For example, of an urgently required revision to the OPDP - according to the medical (e.g., epidemiology) and [#climatology] (https://climatejustice.social/tags/climatology) (i.e., climate science) evidence, burning biomass (e.g., wood fuel) is not sustainable, therefore not a generally renewable, source of energy (when scaled up).
Furthermore, prolonged exposure to wood smoke inhalation (e.g., over the years) increases the probability of developing diseases (it biologically ages people). Furthermore, wood smoke, or tobacco smoke inhalation is harmful to the fetus during pregnancy (See reference section. 2.)
Therefore, the OPDP should be revised to consider clean air & relatively low-energy methods of heating such as heat pumps.
The OPDP should also be revised to meet the requirements of the ecological landscape of any area. For example, the types of [#plants] (https://climatejustice.social/tags/plants) and [#fungi] (https://climatejustice.social/tags/fungi) that can be grown in a region. Also, the time scales involved (will be variable) to improve the soils conditions, to grow food, will be different as many areas of land have soils that have been severely damaged by industrial forms of farming (e.g., overgrazing, insecticides [poisons], and mechanized machinery such as tractors that decrease soil fertility. See reference section. 3.)
Business As Usual (BAU) is a climate paradox (that's why it seems difficult. Because BAU can't possibly mitigate climate change). BAU has been full of “what about?” excuses that have caused the outcome that the window of opportunity to mitigate severe climate change is closing fast (it's now or never to prevent the worst-case scenarios). Many ecological landscapes are generally in extremely poorly managed conditions.
The time of BAU ecological negligence will inevitably end. (e.g., climate change, food & fuel shortages)
In summary, One Planet Development – Just do it already! The One Planet Development approach will also buy time for relatively large businesses and society, in general, to adapt.
