My capsule has a new home!

gemini://tilde.team/~smokey/

It underwent a decent sized re-structuring to simplify the directory tree and cut out the fat of unused files.

A new "Personal Ramblings" section has been added. It houses some of my less-structured and more out-there ponderings about philosophical subjects, the nature of reality, and the limits of human truth. All that good hippy shit. All of the articles in there are a work in progress.

A new "Unfinished Articles" section now houses some half-baked writings that were sitting on my hard drive for a very long time

Thanks for taking the time to explain! The CGI support particularly caught my attention; I'll have to poke around on there myself! · 11 months ago

1. semi-frequent outages that go on for days to weeks at a time, which was happening at the time I switched

2. Extremely outdated gemini server making it so lagrange wouldnt load it correctly, especially on mobile.

3. SDF has a hard individual file size limit of 27kb for its cluster users, making it impossible to write particularly long articles or share photos without painstakingly degrading their resolution/size in gimp.

4. tilde.team for sure supports CGI scripts, allows its users 1GB of storage space, and I like its goals.

Hopefully tilde.team is more stable and more freedom to do what I want with my capsule without limitations or outages plauging it. · 11 months ago

@arman First off no disrespect to SDF, I appreciate what they did but the grievances started to pile up · 11 months ago

What led you to your choice to leave SDF's "orbit"? · 11 months ago
