Gomdi told us about this section of the mountain home before we even left camp
and entered the fortress. That must have been three days ago by Narfi’s
reckoning; and a better dwarf for keeping time underground I’ve never met.
But despite it being nonsense we keep hearing disembodied voices. Why? The Dead
Marches ravaged this place years ago and then left!
We’ve doubled the watch. No self-respecting dwarf journeys unarmed, but I feel
like none of us sleep unarmed now either.
