about me

contact info
this page is a LOT of info about me please no stalkers ty
personality
- i'm not very social and often get too overwhelmed if i have to talk to someone i don't know already. also i've learned i find it very difficult to talk to "authority figures" (not necessarily authorities but people my brain decided are more powerful than me in whatever way)
- apparently i'm isfj (ir-sp-fw-jt) personality type but idk how much i trust that (did you know the 16 type personality test is mainly relevant for getting hired by corpos? pretty dystopian if you ask me)
- i love platonic relationships and platonic affection i love my friends<3 (EXCEPT for the ones i don't, you know who you are (dw it's not as dramatic as it sounds))
- very likely autistic but no professional dx
- favourite season autumn (despite my name), favourite colour uhhhh idk theres too many
politics
- theoretically i'm an anarchist but i'm always too tired/unmotivated to actually do anything meaningful
- i hate the monarchy, the tory party, starmer's labour, capitalism, and authority/*archy in general
- don't like stallman(rms) or raymond(esr) very uncool people who should not be as influential as they are
- political compass says i'm extremely lib-left
- i'm interested in social issues that affect marginalised groups, especially various *normativities (cis-, hetero-, neuro-)
interests
- i don't like computers but also spend a fair bit of time using/programming them so i end up being tech support for my friends a lot
- regarding above, i use various linux distros (void currently and gentoo previously) on my laptop and i run freebsd on a slow and creaky old computer as a server for mumble, dokuwiki and minecraft for friends
- i'm learning russian(русский) and french(français) fairly mediocre at them, although i can speak toki pona (except for most nimi ku lili which i haven't bothered to learn). one of my friends wants me to learn cherokee(ᏣᎳᎩ) we will see how that goes
- can play piano, currently learning to dj and also occasionally try to produce music but the hassle of bullying ableton into starting on wine is a lot and i can't be bothered to learn how to use lmms or whatever plus i have no ideas
- occasional drawing, apparently i'm not bad at it but i hardly ever get motivated
in specific categories

misc
- Sometimes, I write in a formal style, especially in my open-source projects' READMEs and commit messages, or e-mail exchanges with unknown and/or Professional™ people. This is to ensure that I do not come across as immature or uneducated in situations where that might be otherwise assumed and frowned upon. [also cause it removes some aspect of personality which makes it less stressful] [people should be immature and uneducated more often imo but thats another story for another day]
- you might possibly remember me from a year or two ago when i wrote like 2 articles (about a c418 album and a cgi script for surveys iirc) over on tilde.cafe
