In 1991, Spin magazine voted this album the best album of the year (snubbing a release by a certain Seattle grunge band). It's a great collection of alternative jams, with crunchy guitars and restrained production. Bandwagonesque features multiple extended instrumentals and solos, which elevate the songs past simple pop rock. Just a great album.
