This is just my placeholder in Gemini.
Like many capsules, it will be soon lost in space and time.
In the 80s I used to connect to BBSs via a 1200 bps phone modem.
Now Gemini brings me back to that pioneering spirit, when simple content could be shared freely among friends.
I'm more of a curious guy, rather than a creative type. So, this page is all I'll put up for now: I'm not going to write much more. Instead, I'll continue to browse Gemini and search for interesting capsules from humble humans that want to get away from the crowded, noisy, regular internet.
I was blessed to have a supportive wife and two wonderful kids.
For a big part of my life I lived close to the ocean and I love to surf and play with waves.
I love Ducatis and I ride a Monster 937. Motorbikes (or other drivers around them) are dangerous. If I ever die in an accident, this Gemini capsule will remain forever in the digital space, like a remnant of a real space ship.
Given my age, I'm into Retrocomputing. I do that in wintertime.
I own about a dozen of IBM Thinkpad from different years, and an IBM portable PS/2 too.
I daily drive Linux, but I love to use FreeBSD for personal stuff.
