I usually use Greenshot to take screenshots and that can transfer images via clipboard, but that is currently not supported by Lagrange

I have absolutely no idea about Windows programming and even less about system independent programming, so I am not sure if that is possible at all
Not sure... The clipboard functionality is done via SDL, and I don't currently know whether it supports binary clipboard contents. or what happens if trying to paste an image. Should give it a try.
