=================================================
Age has been kicking my ass for the past few months. I've spent a lot of it writing, releasing a few books, starting a couple columns that I need to continue, but I need more streams of income and more outlets to release my brain.
AlephBBS is still a thing, but I need to devote more time to it. Leo is also doing well, in fact he is resting on a leaf and watching me type this.
I'm not quite caring about my looks anymore, and I don't say that in a bad way, just that I think I may now take a chance on creating videos, and potentially streaming. It's become a pull, I guess, and I want to dig into some of the smaller things that people ignore and explain why they may be important, get the flowers out to the LowTek arts.
There is a potential, in fact, I have an account on Udemy that I haven't fleshed completely out yet, but I will be putting together some courses on GhostCMS and MySQL as well as some other databases.
I'm not a fan of Wordpress anymore, haven't been for a good while, but I have this nagging desire to see what ass backwards ways I can implement it. Like with NoSQL for instance, or add a PostgreSQL connector and attach it to CockroachDB, in which I am now certified.
Teach more about bulletin boards and how they can be better than the bigger-better-faster model of technology that we have now.
Getting back to the command line and CLI applications could also be a good bit of fun. Back to the old days and old ways with new power and capability.
Just so the kids will quit "phoning it in."
I also had a huge issue with Ubuntu 22.10 when I upgraded. I lost a bunch of the things that made it great, and for a good while it would lock up on me at random, and that would get me worked up quite a bit. Somehow that all mostly got sorted, and prevented me from deleting everything and starting over from scratch.
