I've been trying to access files hosted on Windows Server from FreeBSD. Microsoft's NFS Services appears to be intentionally unusable, but their new OpenSSH server works well and is simpler to set up.

I ended up settling on sshd. It should work well, and I like being able to authenticate with a simple certificate. · 1 year ago

I've tended to use Samba to mount smbfs Windows shares. I've also had success with sshfs mounts. Otherwise, rsync, but then you're copying and the re-uploading which might not be suitable. · 1 year ago
