An interesting, if short, introduction to the theological virtue of Obedience. Yet, perhaps it should continue with discussing what's to do when the one you are supposed to ob, the likes of the leaders of Nazy Germany or the Soviet Union did not deserve such obedience.

It is interesting that I've never considered prayer as a conversation with myself. Even when doing a Lectio Divina, the meditative reading of Scripture is more akin, if not to a conversation, at least the reading of a letter from the Absolute Other who loves. But perhaps I'm getting too philosophical for my own good. Perhaps it's more like reading a letter from mom, far away, yet close you've just learnt how to read.
