Tonight I took my fiancee out to supper in a nearby city! We first went and painted some pottery at a local business! That took a long time but it was fun and our items turned out really awesome! My Fiancee painted a type of plate, there is probably a fancy word for it but it is like a long skinny plate. And then I painted coasters! They will be awesome additions to our future home!
This is our second time celebrating valentine's day! Our first year we also painted pottery so we decided to make that a tradition! I'm looking forward to slowly obtaining adorable hand painted crafts throughout our lifetime!
Afterwards, we went back to her place and watched the 3rd installment of "To All The Boy's I Loved Before"... we love those movies so much! It all started a little under a year ago during quarantine when COVID was just starting to get bad! We watched the first two together over Netflix Party and instantly fell in love with them! So no they are our favorite movies on Netflix.
I was able to find a great article on the internet that walked through how to make a very barebones shell! My shell can currently run commands and work pretty well! The code was easy to understand and I learned a bunch of new functions that I didn't know existed in the C language! The coolest one was probably `strtok()`! It takes in a character pointer and then splits it up based on specific delimeters you give it! Very handy for parsing command line arguments!
My plan is to add in tab auto-completion, pipes, and handling of Ctrl sequences (Ctrl + c, Ctrl + d, Ctrl + r). I also want to add in my own custom shell commands! And the goal is to make it very customizable! So we will see how this adventure goes!
Hope you all have had a great week! I'm excited for church tomorrow! Have a blessed day!
