Hi, my name is Seth Morabito, and Loom Communications is my personal and professional presence on the Internet.
I'm a software engineer living in Poulsbo, Washington, USA. I have a lot of experience with back-end Internet technologies, especially in the realm of data streaming and aggregation. These days I'm extremely interested in the Rust programming langauge, which I've been using for a new project at work as well as for personal projects.
In addition to programming, I'm interested in photography, bookbinding, calligraphy, and stringed instruments.
I've been using loomcom.com as my domain name since 1995. These days, besides being where I get my email delivered, it mainly acts as a WWW portfolio of my work and interests.
Why "loomcom.com"? Well, the domain name was inspired by Netcom, a once popular but now defunct ISP. It sounded cooler in 1995.

This site is served by agate running on a Linode instance. I wrote a very small, hacky Dockerfile to deploy agate.
